"There simply isn't enough words to express to you how happy we are with the system that was installed last week. This is truly the most comfortable we have been in the three years we have been here. The install was completed on Friday afternoon and by that evening we were so comfy (and it was so quiet with the window unit off) that we fell asleep and didn't wake up until Saturday afternoon!!
As you know, I wasn't wild about being here with two strangers during the day, but I quickly got over that fear once I met them.

"Recently, we heard a sales presentation for a new furnace with air conditioning from a company that serviced our unit several times over the years.
The next day I was putting on an old Lakengren Fireworks T-Shirt that had Drake Heating and Air as a sponsor of the fireworks. I was embarrassed that I had not contacted Drake since they have helped sponsor these great Fireworks and Laser shows. I called Drake and Steve Chrismer came out to give us a second opinion. We went with Drake because of several advantages.
The thought that I am trying to convey is that we should support those people who are supporting our community by advertising in the Viking and those companies that provide the Fireworks and Laser shows, donate door prizes for our clubs, etc. Even if you do not buy something from these spronsors , they would appreciate your telling them that you are thankful for them. "I just had to take a minute to thank the office staff for the great service they have given me in the past couple of weeks. Everyone in the office at Drake is just wonderful to work with. They each have gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.
When my air conditioner failed on Friday I panicked knowing that the weekend temperatures were going to be near 90 and very humid. Sherry went out of her way to locate a new compressor. As always all the service technicians were professional, friendly and very knowledgable. The technician, in particular was outstanding. He worked for hours in the hot sun to get me A/C working. He was so nice despite the very uncomfortable working conditions. Great job!

This is a letter that was written from Gene to his church... "At the annual meeting a statement was made regarding the consideration of replacing some of the 12 furnaces which we have at Trinity. We purchased a new furnace and air conditioning unit last year. We had a good experience with our purchase and would like to share it with you.
We received a mail solicitation from Drake Heating and Air, and as our furnace was 20 years old and not very efficient, I was curious to see what they were offering. Several neighbors had installed new equipment (from other companies) and I was aware of what they paid. I contacted Drake and requested references for some people who live in our condo area so I could compare similar needs. They provided a sales man to accompany me to visit some of the referrals. All that we visited were very please and satisfied with the Drake service and equipment.
We were given a price for removing the old, installing the new, cleaning the air ducts, and hauling the old away. The price was a little less than a neighbor paid for a less efficient unit (and did not have the ducts cleaned). Also, they gave us 10 years on parts and labor in the warranty and offered a deferred payment program of one year without interest.
We have been using the equipment this heating season and our fuel bills have been much less than previously. The replacement of some of our most inefficient furnaces at Trinity should provide considerable savings and we hope that it can be accomplished in the near future.
I realize that I have gone into too much detail in this correspondence, but our experience with this company has been so favorable, we would appreciate if you will consider contacting the Drake Company for an evaluation and price quote when you reach that time in replacing and of the heating equipment. "Mr. Steve Chrismer, I am writing to thank you for resolving the issue of my "noisy" heat pump. Your attention to my concern is certainly an exception to the norm in today's market place. While you owed me nothing, you didn't rest until you had solved the problem. I have already shared this experience with several of my friends and colleagues, and you can bet that I will continue to do so.
This replacement unit is noticeably quieter. The original unit actually kept me awake at night. My sleep has not been interupted one time by this new unit. I tend to be somewhat of a light sleeper, so this is a significant improvement.
While I am pleased, to say the least, with the replacement unit, I am much more impressed by the value you placed on my satisfaction as your customer. As I mentioned earlier, customer satisfaction is somewhat a thing of the past in many businesses, where the philosophy seems to be, take the money and run. "Steve, We couldn't be happier with the geothermal heating system you installed for us. For the first time since we moved in to this house we've been comfortably warm during the winter. As a matter of fact if we have any complaint at all it's that the system works too well... sometimes we find we're being cooked out of the house at night! We have noticed a bump in our electric bill (expected) but it is in no way what I would consider excessive. The increase in our electric bill is a small price to pay for the trade-offs:
1) No more unexpected fuel oil bills, especially no unexpected increase in fuel oil prices.
2) No more smell of fuel oil that lasts for days everytime the tanks are filled and less "dirt and dust" in the house due to how dirty fuel oil burns.
3) Comfortable living conditions, but more importantly the consistent temperature throughout the house. No more "cold" rooms.

"I hired Drake for the first time just a day ago. It was determined that my heat exchanger was cracked and releasing carbon monoxide into my house. While the CO reading was not at a critical level, it was certainly dangerous and hazardous to my health and the health of my dog.
The technician was extremely professional, thorough, and knowledgeable.
I'm glad that the technician disconnected the gas from the furnace so as to prevent any further release of CO. This showed genuine concern for my safety. I do have an AC/Heat Pump unit, but below 25° it's pretty much useless. Last night (12/16) it was below 25°. Drake brought over 2 portable heaters, and then Wendy called today to check and see if I was able to stay warm during the night. On that same call, I was told that the installation of my new furnace had been bumped up, from Dec. 24th to Saturday, December 19th. They're willing to possibly pay overtime to ensure customer comfort and safety as the temperatures start to drop.
I work in Customer Service for a local information services company that is known for providing some of the best customer service in our industry, and that makes me a 'tough customer' who knows good customer service. Drake is a company that really understands good customer service and, as a first-time customer, I couldn't be more impressed. I would recommend Drake to anyone I know without a second thought.

"Our experience with your company started with setting an appointment to obtain an estimate for a new heating system and talk about what would be more efficient for our budget. Keith Moody came out to our house and talked with us, he was here for about 2 hours. Keith was willing to explain where all the heating equipment would be placed, what kind of equipment he would use, and cost savings.
We got three estimates and chose your company to supply and install our new heating system. Keith again came to our house and spent about 2 hours with us, we had more questions. Keith was polite and informative with no high-pressure sales. In this day it is unheard of for a member of a company to spend this much time with a customer before a sale.
Jason and Richard were the installers for our new heating system. My wife and I can't say enough about how hard they worked. The original part of our house was built in 1864 and added to three times. They had a lot of obstacles to get around. They went above and beyond to do this and not have holes in the walls. At one point Jason had to get in a small crawl space. I don't know how he did it. They were always here at the time they said they would be. Jason and Richard were polite and worked very well together. Jason and Richard should be commended for their hard work.
Because of Keith, Jason, and Richard, our experience with your company was a pleasant one. We are looking forward to see what our actual savings will be. Thank you very much!"

I wanted to make sure that all parties involved are thanked and aware of how happy we are with the Drake experience. We couldn’t be happier with the service received from Drake. The service technician came out to do a tune up on the furnace. When he did the tune up, he found some problems with the furnace. He discussed the problems with us and also gave us our options. He simply gave us the facts. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He did not pressure us into making a decision. I liked that there were no high pressure sales. When your team came out to install, they made a long 9 hour day very easy for us. Two guys came out to install and did a great job. They were very helpful. Roy had to leave early to go to another job, but Ron stayed to get the job finished. Two other guys came out on their own time when they were finished with their job, to help Ron get finished. I was very pleased with the teamwork that your guys displayed and how they worked together so Ron didn’t have to be here all night.

"The decision of which company to select for our new heating and air system was not an easy one. We had a long-term established relationship with another local company for service of our old unit and was relatively happy with their support. However, it was the sales consultation and overall value for the money which led us to Drake.
I say sales 'consultation' because Steve evaluated our current system, asked us questions which then allowed him to determine the right equipment for us. He walked us step-by-step through the entire process. He pointed out changes they would make when installing the new system to bring it up to current code (which the other guys were just going to ignore) and made a recommendation to relocate our outside heat pump unit which offered several benefits we hadn't even considered. Steve approached our job like it was his own home.
The purchase of a new heat and air system is a major investment for our family, consequently, price was a major deciding factor. In our case, the price between Drake and the other guys was relatively close. However, when we compared what we were getting from each it was clear that Drake was by far the best value. The difference was not only the nice 'extra's' like duct cleaning and first year free service, but Drake was supplying higher output equipment for the same money!
We have to admit even after we knew Drake was the best value, we were a little concerned about the installation. We knew the other guys by name. They had been to our house numerous times and we were comfortable with them. However, we couldn't have been more satisfied with Ron. He was outstanding across the board from the attention taken to clean-up (which was big for us) to the way he interacted with our children. In fact, he went the extra mile to repair our sidewalk just to make sure it wouldn't be a hazard for our kids. Now that's service!!! In retrospect, we have no doubts that Drake was the right decision for us.

Last Friday, we got to experience a fantastic experience from the moment of the VIP parking, to the complete tour of the stadium (learning the Dragon's history, seeing the layout of the insides of the stadium, viewing a suite, seeing the communications set-ups, and many more interesting things). Nick Daumann, our VIP tour guide, was outstanding in all his explanations. It was very obvious how much he values his relationship with the Dragon team. After the tour, he escorted us to our seats and explained the items in the 'goody bag' which included posters, 4 hats, a Dragon baseball, bobble head, magnet, and a very nice Dragon shirt. Then Nick showed us the envelope that included $40 worth of certificates to use for any food, drink, or shop items. Incredible! And then the most interesting part was watching the game from outstanding seats behind the opponents dug-out! It was exciting with a 2-2 tie until the extra inning caused the loss of 2-6. L

"We wish to commend Ron and his coworkers for their good work putting in our heating/air system. They were very neat and particular in their work. They took the extra time to be cautious and yet were very thorough workers. Our home gave them the extra challenges (hot water heat in the ceiling) in several ways but they patiently worked through each roadblock.
We also appreciated Keith's understanding and kindness. We had a couple of concerns and Keith came promptly to listen. Then Ron came back to help correct the concerns. Again the neatness and willingness to do a job well was impressive.
The overall job was completed in a very timely fashion. We would recommend Drake Heating & Air to anyone that has a need.
We also would be glad to talk personally to any possible customer that is in question.

Installation of a central air conditioning system in our house was completed today, 12 June 2007. The installation was performed by Ron Dill with the assistance of Josh Moody. We are extremely satisfied with the work and the final installation looks topnotch and far better than we had anticipated. In addition, there was no mess, a detail that had worried us. Ron and Josh were very conscious of our concerns in this regard, and they were meticulous in cleaning up, and they wore their booties at all times when in the house.
We were impressed with the team work exhibited by Ron and Josh and especially the contribution that Josh made to the total effort. He was able to work independently and to the satisfaction of Ron. For instance we watched him do the complete wiring of the compressor unit by himself. It was more than we would have expected from a young man of 16 years. He mentioned that he liked the work and it showed in his contribution to the total effort and his attention to detail. Even at his present age he shows great promise and is a definite asset to your company. Don’t let him get away. We are not greatly impressed with today’s younger generation, but Josh is an exception.
Ron and Josh made a great team and their friendliness, team work and pride in their work reflect well on the company they work for. We were also very pleased with the time that Keith Moody devoted in answering all our questions. At no time did we feel pressured to make a quick decision. Without hesitation we would highly recommend DRAKE HEATING AND AIR . If you wish, you may use our name as a reference.
